What a Way To End The Season!

The U9 Raiders Showed That They Are The Real Deal In The 2011 MAYLA Tournament!

After an outstanding rookie season the U9 Raiders looked to carry that winning momentum into the Metro Atlanta Youth Lacrosse Association (MAYLA) 2011 Tournament. Facing teams from all over the Metro Atlanta area this was an opportunity to not only see how well they had progressed as a team but an opportunity to see how NOFOLAX stands up against other LAX programs while having fun in a great tournament atmosphere!

On the first day of the tournament the Raiders faught a well disciplined and agressive Alpharetta team to a three to three tie which they followed with a difficult loss to a West Cobb team who just squeaked out a five to three  win over the Raiders. However; on Day Two the Raiders Roared back to life shutting out two teams with some great defensive work while putting up seven points in each game (14 total for the day)! And it was great to see another Raider get his first goal of the year as Cody Nail was able to put the ball in the cage!

Great job Raiders! Super Effort by a Super Team. We are all very proud of you and what you have accomplished.

We hope everyone had fun and we look foward to seeing you next season when we move to U11!

What a way to finish strong!

In looking at the 2011 season we are very proud of what the U9 Raiders have been able to accomplish. Not just the wins but what they have been able to learn. They took on the challenge of a new sport and demonstrated the ability to work together as a team putting together a string of impressive wins and having FUN along the way!

Now it's on to the tournament and Team Party!

The U9 Raiders Close out April with a big wn over the Wolverines!

On what would have been the last day of the 2011 Lacross Regular Season the Raiders rolled into Midway looking to bounce back from a couple of  recent losses. Not to disappoint they returned to their early seaon form by putting 11 points on the board while holding the Wolverines to only 5 goals.

WIth two games that were cancelled due to weather the Raiders are looking to build upon today's win and use the two make up games to prepare for the Little Longhorn Tournament.

Great job Raiders!
