The U13 program is designed to prepare players for the next level of lacrosse that may be played at the middle school or high school levels. As the sport continues to grow in our area, new middle school and high school teams are being created and the foundation of those teams come directly from the U13 programs. That said; new players are always welcome as you are never too old to learn how to play Lacrosse!
At the U13 level Boys and Girls may still play together however; girls may choose to move on to play Women's lacrosse on one of our all girl teams.
The U13 game becomes more physical as the rules are adjusted to support the growth of the players.
Players will continue to build individual skills, develop team tactics, focus on sportsmanship and HAVE FUN!
U13 teams compete with other U13 teams from around the North Georiga area.
Most games will be played with in a 45 min drive of our home field.
-Boys and Girls may play together following the Boys U13 Rules
-U13 Players use standard Men's Short Sticks
-U13 Players may also use Long Poles
-Goalie gear including a Goalie stick is provided.
-The focus of this group will be to the continued growth of the individual player, capabilities of the team and honoring the traditions of the sport.
-The U13 Game is played on a full field
-Both Boys And Girls must wear the proper safety gear. (Helmet, Shoulder Pads, Arm/ Elbow Pads, Gloves. Mouth Piece, and Boys must wear a protective cup.)
